Dave: Wang Trading is making knockoffs of ourwatches and selling them. I say we tell them rightaway to stop, or we'll take them to court. Do I haveeveryone's support on this? Bob?

Bob: You have my full backing, Dave. If we don'tshow everyone that we'll hurt them when they do these things, other

companies will start to make more knockoffs later.

Mary: I'm sorry, but I think that's just what we shouldn't do. We'd need to use Vietnam's laws;we all know that the government there won't help a Taiwanese company fight a Vietnamesecompany.

Dave: I see your point, but we need to punish them, and let others see us punishing them, sonobody else will ever try the same thing.

Mary: Companies have tried that many, many times before -- it never works. If we stop thiscompany, there will just be another company that will do the same thing. If there is a chance formaking profits, someone will try it.

Bob: We're cutting our own throats if we don't do something. Are you saying we should justdo nothing?

Mary: Not at all. What I'm saying is that the knockoffs are being sold in a market that ourwatches aren't sold in. If we want to stop others from selling knockoffs, we should get into thismarket ourselves.

  1. Do I have everyone's support on this?

  2. Do I have your full support on this?

  3. Is everyone with me on this?

  4. Is everyone in agreement on this?

  1. You have my full backing on this.

  2. I'm fully behind you on this.

  3. I'm in complete agreement with you on this.

  4. I'm completely on your side on this.

  1. I see your point, but...

  2. I suppose you're right, but...

  3. That's true, but...

  4. I agree up to a point, but...

I see your point, but..."

  ● More 否决

  I'm afraid I can't accept that.

I'm sorry, but we can't really do that.

I'm afraid I'm not very happy about that.

I'm sorry, but I have doubts about that.

I don't want to be discouraging but...

I accept the need for that, but...

I appreciate your point of view, but...

I can see why you want to do this, but...

  That's very interesting, but...
